What Is Purpur?
Purpur is a fork of Paper (which is itself a fork of Spigot and CraftBukkit) that adds hundreds of additional configuration options, performance improvements, and quality-of-life features.
Every Mineworld.space server runs Purpur 1.21.

Why We Use Purpur
1. Performance
Purpur includes all of Paper's performance patches plus additional optimizations. Better TPS (ticks per second) even during mob-heavy events.
2. More Configuration
Purpur has over 300 additional configuration options not found in Paper or Spigot — mob behavior tweaks, custom damage values, item modifications, and more.
3. Full Plugin Compatibility
Purpur is 100% compatible with all Bukkit, Spigot, and Paper plugins. WorldEdit, ViaVersion, and every other popular plugin works perfectly.
4. Active Development
Purpur releases updates quickly after each Minecraft version — usually within days of a new Minecraft release.
What Does This Mean for You?
Your Mineworld.space server runs smoothly with multiple players, handles mob farms better than standard servers, and stays at 20 TPS under normal gameplay.
